The essay should reflect your own opinion.The evaluator wants quality not quantity.So write in succint way.Don’t elaborate or in verbose way.Make a point and then give reason and after that give appropriate example.Go through the newspaper(Editorial) everyday,remeber the specific values such as GDP growth,population,etc.these may be helpful while writing.
But Remember XAT cut-offs are very important.In case of equal scores obtained by the candidates they may consider this.Also in interviews they may ask.
You have write the essay in precise and effective way……..

standard wording shudn’t b more than 300 words ,however there is no limitation on no. of words in XAT.
